Deputy Secretary of the CPC Xi'an Jiaotong University Committee

Sun Zao, male, of the Han ethnic group, was born in January 1966. He holds a doctoral degree and is a professor.

He is in charge of students' affairs, courses on Marxism, ideological and political theories, united front work, and the work of security and stability.

He has successively served as vice-dean, deputy Party chief and dean of the XJTU School of Economics and Finance. He was appointed as vice-secretary of the CPC XJTU Committee in December 2021.

In addition, he is a member of the 14th Xi'an Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
