XJTU Vice-President and member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xi'an Jiaotong University Committee

Hong Jun, male, of the Han ethnic group, was born in August 1968. He holds a doctoral degree and is a professor.

He is in charge of teaching, discipline planning and construction, foreign cooperation, policies and regulations, books, network information, development planning, targeted assistance and counterpart support.

He has successively served as deputy director of the Department of Major Projects and S&T Development at the Institute of Science & Technology, executive deputy dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, and assistant to the president. In May 2019, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xi'an Jiaotong University Committee. In January 2023, he served as vice president of Xi'an Jiaotong University.
