The president of Nepal Ram Baran Yadav meets with the Nepali students of XJTU
On October 28, the president of Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, on an official visit to China, arrived in the ancient capital of Xi'an. In the evening, President Yadav and his daughter, together with the minister of tourism and the minister of civil aviation of Nepal, met with Nepali students attending XJTU at the Xi'an Shangri-La Hotel. The associate dean of the School of International Education Professor SONG Yuxia, the director of the Foreign Students Office Mr. ZHANG Hua and 24 Nepali students attended the meeting.
President Yadav expressed his sincere gratitude to XJTU for the education it has been offering to Nepali students. He said that the purpose of his current visit to China was "to promote the further development of friendly relations between the two countries and to bring everything I see and hear in China to my country".
The Nepali students expressed their intention to continue to study hard and to get better grades with the benefit of instruction by the teachers of XJTU. After the meeting, President Yadav and his ministers, the XJTU teachers present, and the Nepali students all posed for a group photograph.
