XJTU signs Memoranda of Understanding with two Japanese research institutions
Recently, a delegation from XJTU led by the Vice President SONG Xiaoping visited Japan, and signed Memoranda of Understanding with NIMS and RIKEN, marking a high point in the cooperation between XJTU and these two major Japanese research institutions.
On December 20, Vice President SONG visited NIMS, where he met with president USHIODA Sukekatsu on behalf of President ZHENG Nanning and signed the MOU.
On the next day, Vice President SONG visited RIKEN and met with President Ryoji Noyori. He exchanged his ideas with director Maki Kawai (in charge of research cooperation) on joint research and exchanges of scientists, engineers and researchers between the two institutions. Later, they signed the MOU.
Afterwards, accompanied by representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs of RIKEN, the delegation visited of the Advanced Science Institute, the Brain Science Institute, the Nishina Center for Accelerator-Based Science in Wako Institute and the Yokohama Institute.
