On March 10, at the invitation of Tokyo Institute of Technology, XJTU Vice President Lu Tianjian visited Tokyo Institute of Technology. He and his party were welcomed by that university's vice president and director of international exchange, Prof. Taichiro, who gave the visitors an in-depth introduction to Tokyo Institute of Technology, including its curriculum, its approach to education, and its recent efforts in the area of international education. Vice President Taichiro Okura expressed his strong wish to further intensify the cooperation and exchange between his university and XJTU. Vice President Lu said that he hoped the two universities could strengthen their cooperation and accelerate the pace of internationalization. Later, Vice President Lu Tianjian met with the chairman of the Engineering Department of Tokyo Institute of Technology Professor Kenichi Okazaki, and the two shared ideas on how to further enhance the cooperation and exchange between the two universities in the field of engineering.
