The University of Saskatchewan and XJTU extend their joint training agreement for graduate students in sociology
On the afternoon of December 16, a ceremony was held in the Science Hall to extend the joint graduate student training agreement between Canada's University of Saskatchewan and XJTU. Vice President Cheng Guangxu and others attended the ceremony on behalf of XJTU.
Vice President Cheng Guangxu welcomed the Dean of the Graduate School of the University of Saskatchewan Professor Lawrence Martz and his party. Professor Martz gave his heartfelt greetings to Vice President Cheng Guangxu and XJTU and he thanked them for XJTU's strong support throughout the training program. The extension agreement was signed by Professor He Maogang, the associate dean of the XJTU Graduate School, Professor Bian Yanjie, the dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the University of Saskatchewan's Professor Martz and Professor Harley Dickinson, dean of the School of Arts and Sciences.
