XJTU hosts special seminar on organzing joint programs with UC Berkeley
On the afternoon of March 28, XJTU held a special seminar to explore the ways to develop and manage joint talent training programs involving with XJTU and the University of California, Berkeley. The meeting was chaired by Vice President Lu Tianjian.
The participants reviewed the process of exchange and the modalities for organizing mutual visits and project cooperation, reported on the progress made by the two universities in previous joint talent training programs, and anticipated continued cooperation between the two universities. The issues discussed included mutual recognition of course credit for undergraduates and postgraduates, ways of expanding exchange programs and the funding support for students' visits in the joint programs.
