Nobel chemistry laureate Professor Ryoji Noyori visited XJTU to participate in the inauguration of the joint research center
On February 21, Professor Ryoji Noyori, the president of The Japanese Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN), visited XJTU. Prof. Noyori was the 2001 Nobel laureate in chemistry. He is a foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and an honorary professor at XJTU. During his visit, he unveiled the plaque of the XJTU-RIKEN Joint Research Center, after which he delivered a lecture to students of XJTU. Prior to the lecture, Professor Ryoji Noyori was interviewed by the reporter from XJTU student news agency.
