International Conference on “Philosophy Today” Held at XJTU
On December 21-22, 2013, XJTU hosted an International conference on "Philosophy Today." The conference focused on a number of important theoretical issues in contemporary philosophy, and was attended by professors and researchers from America, Great Britain, Germany and Taiwan of China attended. The attendees presented their latest work on significant theoretical problems in four areas: social development, modernization, culture and values, and globalization.
The conference was jointly organized by the Department of Philosophy of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of XJTU, the American Values and Culture Research Center and the Research Institute of Philosophy of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of XJTU and implemented by the relevant schools and departments of Nankai University, Furen University in Taiwan of China and Northwest University.
