Students from The High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University won two silver medals and one bronze medal in the final of Chinese Mathematical Olympiad 2014
On December 26, Chinese Mathematical Society(CMS) reported that Chen Yu, Wang Yicheng and Wang Jiafan from The High School Affiliated to Xi'an Jiaotong University won two silver medals and one bronze medal in the final of Chinese Mathematical Olympiad 2014.
Chinese Mathematical Olympiad(CMO) is the most influential national mathematics competition of the highest level and largest scale held among high school students in China. From December 18 to 22, more than 300 excellent students in mathematics from Russia, Singapore and across China paticipated in this competition in Chongqing, including three students from The High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University led by their teachers Chen Xiaogeng and Jin Lei. After fierce competition, Chen Yu and Wang Yicheng took two silver medals and Wang Jiafan took a bronze medal, another excellent result since last year when students from this school won a gold medal in the final.
