Professor Cheng Hai was elected Geochemistry Fellow
Recently, the list of Geochemistry Fellow in 2015 was announced by the Geochemical Society and the European Association of Geochemistry. Professor Cheng Hai, scholar of National Thousand Talents Program, Institute of Global Environmental Change, XJTU, was elected for his outstanding contribution in isotopic dating of stalagmite.
Geochemistry Fellow was set up by the most influential academic organization in earth science, the Geochemical Society and the European Association of Geochemistry, in 1996, in recognition of prominent scientists who had made great contributions in earth science. By 2015, 242 scientists have been awarded this title. In Chinese mainland, two Chinese scientists are included, that is, academician Gao Shan from China University of Geosciences(Wuhan) and professor Cheng Hai from XJTU.
