Secretary of CPC XJTU Committee

Lu Jianjun, male, of the Han ethnic group, was born in July 1962. He holds a master's degree and is currently a professor. As a member of the CPC, he is in charge of the work of the XJTU Party Committee.

He previously served as deputy director and director of the Department of Communication Engineering at the Xi'an Mining Institute (renamed Xi'an University of Science and Technology), deputy director of the Department of Communication Engineering and assistant to the president at Xi'an University of Science and Technology, and vice-president of Xi'an University of Science and Technology.

Additionally, he held positions as president and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Xi'an College of Posts and Telecommunications, president and Party secretary of Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications; secretary of the Science and Technology Working Committee of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee, director of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Department; and director and secretary of the leading Party members group of the Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission.

In July 2019, he was appointed as a member and secretary-general of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee, concurrently serving as the secretary of the working committee of the office directly under the leadership of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee.

In November 2020, he was appointed as the Party secretary of the CPC XJTU Committee.

In addition, he is a representative at the 19th and 20th National Congress of the CPC, a member of the 13th CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee, and a representative of the 13th CPC Congress of Shaanxi Province.
