XJTU Vice-President and member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xi'an Jiaotong University Committee

Chai Wei, male, of the Han ethnic group, was born in August 1972. He holds a master's degree.

He is in charge of logistical and security affairs, primary construction, the management of productive assets and independent schools and institutes, and the construction of the innovation harbor.

He has successively served as deputy Party chief and vice-dean of the XJTU School of Humanities and Social Sciences, chairperson of the XJTU Chungying College, head of the XJTU Department of Housing and Residential Management, deputy director of the XJTU Logistical Department, deputy secretary and head of the Organization Department of the CPC Xi'an Jiaotong University Committee. 

He was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xi'an Jiaotong University Committee in May 2019 and vice president of XJTU in December 2021.
