The logistics support department takes responsibility for logistics management and supervises the following institutions:

The general office; the office of quality supervision; the housing management branch of the energy conservation office; the school hospital; the administration office of XJTU's Qujiang campus; the catering service center; the property service center; the energy service center; the comprehensive service center of XJTU's Yanta Campus; and the comprehensive service center of XJTU's iHarbour Campus. 

A total of 460 staff are authorized employees of government-funded public institutions. Another 820 employees are subject to labor contracts.

Main functions:

• Be responsible for the four XJTU campuses (Xingqing, Yanta, Qujiang, and iHarbour)

• Take charge of campus maintenance; basic medical care; public health services; faculty housing; catering services; afforestation and environmental conservation; cleaning and property services; the delivery and security of water, electricity, and heating; energy management, energy efficiency, and emission reductions; the distribution and management of student dormitories; the operation and maintenance of large utilities; community management services; and the scheduling of the commuter bus.
