The Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) Pure Portal (scholar.xjtu.edu.cn), jointly built by XJTU and Elsevier, was launched on Oct 9. As an essential channel for showcasing the university's academic achievements, this system will create an efficient and professional platform for academic promotion and resource sharing among scholars across the university.

It will compile scholars' representative achievements, research experience, and academic honors to create a visual personal academic homepage for the first batch of 1,250 on-campus scholars, including personal resumes, research field maps, scholar collaboration networks, and academic outputs.

In the future, the university will strive to include more scholars on the platform, providing greater support for scholars' interdisciplinary collaboration and strengthening international academic discourse.

The construction of the XJTU Pure Portal connects the university with the international academic governance system and serves the development needs of scholars.

Relying on Elsevier's global data network, the portal will enhance the university's international academic reputation and promote international cooperation and exchanges, thereby improving the university's academic influence.
