From Sept 21 to 30, a delegation led by Sun Zao, deputy secretary of the CPC Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) Committee, visited Hungary, Albania, and Slovenia.

The delegation conducted research and discussions on the talent dilemma faced by enterprises, industry-academia-research collaboration mechanisms, and international cooperative education models.

It reached a series of cooperation consensuses, laying a solid foundation for the university to further promote the construction of liberal arts and the internationalization of management education.

From Sept 21 to 23, the delegation visited Continental Tech Industrial Park, Budapest University of Economics and Business, EuroBridge Industrial Park, Veson Group's Hungarian company, and the XJTLU Central and Eastern European Research Center.

At the Budapest University of Economics and Business, the delegation held talks with Gabor Kiraly, dean of the School of Management, and his team. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on issues such as cooperative education, teacher-student exchange visits, scientific research cooperation, and serving the talent needs of Chinese-funded enterprises, aiming to expand new spaces for cooperation.

From Sept 24 to 27, the 33rd CEEMAN Annual Conference was held in Albania. It brought together leaders, well-known scholars, corporate representatives, and policymakers from the global business education community to explore how business schools should play a leading role in the constantly changing global landscape.

During the annual conference, XJTU was awarded the CEEMAN Alliance membership certificate, marking the university's access to a business education network covering emerging economies around the world. CEEMAN membership provides an official bridge for the university to connect with Central and Eastern European talent resources for serving Chinese-funded enterprises.

On Sept 29, the delegation visited the Bled School of Management in Slovenia and held discussions with Nenad Filipovic, director of Executive Education, and Drikus Kriek, director of the DBA Program, among others.

The two sides exchanged views on issues such as cooperative education, curriculum certification, and industry-education integration, and explored new models for international talent training.
