The inclusion status across several key academic databases, both domestic and international, has been recently updated. These include domestic core databases such as the China Science and Technology Core Journals List, the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) Source Journals List, and the Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI) Source Journals Directory, as well as important international databases such as EBSCO, INSPEC, and the ICI Journals Master List.

Seventeen journals from Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTI) have been selected for the 2025 China Science and Technology Core Journals List. Among these, three English-language journals – Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis, Energy Storage and Saving, and Data Science and Management – were newly selected. Fourteen Chinese-language journals remain included, comprising three social science journals, three science and engineering journals, and eight medical journals.

Eight journals have been selected for the CSCD Source Journals List (2025-2026), including two newly added English-language journals: Data Science and Management and Journal of Advanced Dielectrics. Another English-language journal and five Chinese-language journals remain included in the CSCD core collection.

Two social science journals, Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University (Social Science Edition) and Contemporary Economic Science, remain included in the CSSCI Source Journals Directory.

Eight XJTU journals have also been added to important international databases. Three journals – Advanced Nuclear Reactor Design and Technology, Northwest Pharmaceutical Journal, and Medical Education Research and Practice – have been included in the EBSCO database.

The Chinese Journal of Applied Mechanics has been included in the INSPEC database. Four journals – Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University (Medical Edition), Journal of Modern Urology, and Chinese Medical Ethics – are newly included in the ICI Journals Master List.

In the recently released 2025 "World's Top 2% Scientists" list, 370 editorial board members from 18 XJTU journals were included in the annual scientific impact list. Of these, 231 editorial board members have been included in the lifetime scientific impact list, marking a 37.5 percent increase in lifetime list inclusions compared to 2023.
