XJTU held the first International Silk Road Master Class on Chinese Culture
On September 19, the first International Silk Road Master Class on Studies of the Chinese Culture was officially launched.
The class is the first of its kind ever organized at XJTU. The class comprised 12 students from Japan, South Korea, Czech, Turkey and Italy. The master class on Studies of the Chinese Culture was set up especially by the School of Humanities and Social Science for international students mainly concerned with humanities and social science education.
The class vows to create a graduate platform for international students to learn China and its culture as well as understand the Sino-foreign cultural exchanges. It intends to foster rounded international talents who know well the Chinese culture and society, demonstrate the Chinese cultural and social research capability and capable of engaging the cultural exchanges, diplomacy, business and trade, management and teaching throughout the world.
