The Highly Cited Researchers 2015 was announced, with four XJTU faculty selected
Recently, Thomson Reuters has announced the Highly Cited Researchers 2015. The researchers come from 21 disciplines, including materials, chemistry, math and engineering, totaling 2975 (3125 people). 148 Chinese scientists (including those from the Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan regions) were selected, totaling 168 persons.
Four XJTU faculty were selected, including Guo Liejin, Huang Zuohua, Ma En, and Cheng Hai.
The selected Chinese scientists come from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and universities. In particular, the Chemistry Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Tsinghua University rank the number 1, with 7 faculty selected. XJTU, Fudan University, the Chinese University of Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Northeast Normal University and South China University of Technology ranked the number 7, with 4 faculty selected.
