From Jan 25 to Feb 2, President Wang Shuguo led a delegation and paid visits to Politecnico di Milano, France Paris cole Suprieure d'lectricit, Ecole Centrale de Lyon, University of Cambridge and Oxford University for pragmatic cooperation. During the visits, the President also paid visits to the Embassy of PRC in Italia, the UK, UNESCO, British Parliament, the Ministry of Finance, with cooperation agreement signed with British QS Group. The President also had discussions with alumni in European countries.

During the visits, the President with the delegation held discussions with alumni in Italy, France and the UK, brought New Year's greetings and sent invitations to them, sincerely hoped the alumni could go back for the XJTU's 120th Anniversary.

The visits were paid jointly with Shan Wenhua, School of Law; Party Secretary Bie Zhaohong, School of Electrical Engineering and Director Liang Li, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange.
