Recently, the State Council Academic Degrees Committee issued a statement, which agreed to add the Doctor's Degree authorization of the first-level discipline of Cyber Space Security in XJTU. So far, XJTU has obtained 28 Doctor's Degree authorization of the first-level disciplines.

Supported by the relative preponderant disciplines such as Information Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Control Science and Engineering, Science of Law and Software Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University, this new Doctor's Degree authorization will push forward the construction and development of the university in the Cyber Space Security field so as to serve the country and society for further development.
