On March 28th, President Zhang Maozhong of Taiwan Xinzhu Jiaotong University made a special visit to XJTU to congratulate upon XJTU 120th anniversary, and during his visit discussed with Chairman of XJTU Board Zhang Maizeng on higher education and cooperation.

Chairman Zhang Maizeng introduced XJTU’s discipline building, teaching and research, faculty building, etc. , and emphatically introduced the future prospect of Western China Science and Technology Innovation Harbor. He emphasized that five Jiaotong universities should collaborate more in teaching and research, President Zhang Maozhong introduced Xinzhu Jiaotong University, including the university mission, development status, and future planning, and shared his thoughts on talents training.
