On May 30th Morning, Provost Yi Li visited XJTU, during his visit discussed with Executive Vice-Secretary Wang Xiaoli. Provost Yi Li graduated from XJTU in 1981.

Executive Vice-Secretary Wang Xiaoli introduced XJTU’s discipline building, teaching and research, faculty building, etc. , and emphatically introduced the future prospect of Western China Science and Technology Innovation Harbor. He also said that XJTU are willing to cooperate with other universities among the world.

Provost Yi Li introduced California state University, Northridge, including the university mission, development status, and future planning, and shared their experiences on minority education.

Provost Yi Li also brought the Memorandum of Understanding between Xi’an Jiaotong University and California state University, Northridge signed by their President.
