On May 3, 2017,an official delegation from Leiden University led by President Carel Stolker visited XJTU. Leiden University, founded in 1575, is one of the leading international research universitiesin Europe. During the visit, the two universities signed a total of six agreements, including dual doctoral degree programs, dual Master's degree programs, the exchange programs for scholars and students, etc. At the same time, Leiden University offered an appointment of visiting professor to both Professor Guan Xiaohong and Professor Ye Kai of the School of Electronic and Information Engineering in the hope of further deepening the cooperation between the two universities.
