XJTU students to study further at world top universities
In recent years, education of the Experimental Class of Science in Physics at XJTU has achieved remarkable results. According to the latest news, Li Changhao, who will graduate this year from XJTU, is admitted to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and plans to pursue a doctorate in Nuclear Science and Engineering; Hao Zeyu, who graduated from XJTU last year, will go to Harvard Universityto pursue a doctorate in physics this fall. The two students also received offers of admission from the California Institute of Technology, the University of California at Berkeley, and Cornell University. Thus far, eight students of the Experimental Class of Sciencein Physics graduating this year, including Li Changhao, have received offers of admission from Duke University, University of Michigan, University of Rochester, University of Colorado Boulder, Rice University and other international first-class universities in the United States.
Thus far, 108 students from the Experimental Class of Sciencein Physics have successfully graduated. Among them, 54 have sought further study at world-class universities, including Huo Weiguang and Guo Duo,who graduated from XJTU in 2015 and are currently studying for their doctoral degreeatPrinceton University and Columbia University, respectively. Jia Yi (who graduated from XJTU in 2016), is working toward her doctorate at MIT, while Zhao Ruiyang (who graduated from XJTU in 2014) and LiaoYuheng (who graduatedfrom XJTU in 2016) are pursuing their doctorate at Duke University.
