On the morning of July 3, 2017, a delegation from Tavrida National University in Ukraine,led by President Volodymyr Pavlovych Kazarin, visited XJTU and met with Zhang Maizeng, the Chair of XJTU Council. During the meeting, President Volodymyr Pavlovych Kazarin said that he welcomes more XJTU students to go to Tavrida National University for further studies and academic exchange,and announced his decision that Tavrida National University joins  in the University Alliance of Silk Road (UASR).
