"Cloud Computing Elite Class" starts up
On the morning of July 1, 2017, XJTU and Huawei Technologies announced that the "Cloud Computing Elite Class"kicks off. Both institutions will collaborate in talent cultivation, resource sharing, and innovate to develop a win-win model in student education and collaboration.
The first "Cloud Computing Elite Class" enrolled 30 students, including 15 undergraduates and 15 postgraduates respectively, majoring in electric engineering, electronic and information engineering, software engineering, mathematics, etc. Senior experts from Huawei Technologies announced plans to give lectures during students’spare time (weekends, summer and winter vacationsand extra academic semesters).Cognitive practice and production internships in Huawei are also available for students during thisyear’ssummer vacation. Huawei Technologieshas announced plans to create severalscience and innovation programs for these students who can apply for work in teams, and XJTU Engineering Workshops will offer guidance and financial support.
