On April 14, XJTU Professor Dieter H.H. Hoffmann, an expert from the "National 1000 Talent Program of Foreign Experts" was invited to attend the16th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals in Shenzhen. During the conference, seventeen foreign experts from ten countries, including Professor Hoffmann, were awarded the title of "State Specially Recruited Expert" by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China. Wang Zhigang, Chinese Minister of Science and Technology, granted the certificate to the foreign experts.
