Recently, the first national "Proof-of-Concept Center" was formally established in XJTU. The construction of the center is supported by the Xi'an Jiaotong University National Technology Transfer Center. XJTUMBA alumnus LuanLong, who is also a seed investor, was elected to bethe first director of the center.

Xi'an Jiaotong University National Technology Transfer Center takes the responsibility of "driving the dissemination, circulation, sharing, and application of scientific and technological achievements in realizingtheir economic and social values", and strives to create a complete "XJTU Technology Innovation Chain". The "Proof-of-Concept Center" aiming to fill the gap between the university research and market requirements, is a new attempt by XJTU in improvingthe front-end of the technological innovation chain.
