The Xi'an Jiaotong University Postgraduate English Education Reform Planwas released in recent. By focusing on the development of English communication skills of postgraduate students, this reform is committed to construct a novel English Education Model by taking practical teaching as the main method, deeply integrating English teaching with scientific research, and combining the in-class and out-of-class teaching with online and offline teaching. The new English Education model will put more emphasison the teaching quality of the chief class, effectively improve the academic English output and the sense of acquisition of postgraduate students from English class.This reform has made significant differences in curriculum setting as well as teaching mode, teaching faculty and evaluation system construction, which will play a leading role in domestic postgraduate English teaching.
