From November 3-4, 2018, XJTU president Wang Shuguo was invited to attend and preside over the International Forum on Higher Education Academic Annual Conference 2018 held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. The forum with “Promote ‘Double First-Class’ Construction and Realize Connotative Development” as the theme, was hosted by the China Association of Higher Education and the People's Municipal Government of Ningbo. Over1100 attendees, including nearly 50 foreign experts from 15 countries as well as domestic leaders and experts, attended the conference.

During his stay in Ningbo, President Wang Shuguo also visited XJTU alumni representatives for in-depth discussions.
