On February 22, 2019, the Chinese University Innovative Talents Cultivation Symposium &Chinese University Discipline Competition Rankings 2018 Press Conference was held at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. XJTU ranked second on the list with a score of 99.68 and 78 awards. XJTU also rose from 13th place to 8thplace in the 2014-2018 Five-year Chinese University Discipline Competition Rankings released for the same period.
