On April 15, 2019, four XJTU professors visited Leiden University, the Netherlands, with the hope of deepening partnership between the two universities by putting all agreements into full effect and strengthening close cooperation and coordinated development of subject group. In return, Leiden University marked Xi'an Jiaotong University Day on April 16th, and held a series of academic activities, making XJTU the first to receive this honor in Leiden's 444-year history.
