First Chinese language course for full-time foreign researchers opens
In recent years, XJTU has seen progress in scientific research and international development and has attracted an increasing number of outstanding young talents from abroad, especially excellent PhD graduates from countries along the "Belt and Road". Currently, there are more than 60 full-time foreign researchers at XJTU. In order to facilitate their work and life in China, XJTU's Human Resource Department and the School of International Education started to organize Chinese language courses for them. Each language training session lasts 8 weeks, totaling 32 credit hours, which enables foreign researchers to acquire basic communication skills in Chinese.
