A new sensitive target discovered for radiotherapy
Professor Huang Chen's research team, Department of Cell and Genetics, School of Basic Medicine, XJTU Health Science Center, collaboratedwith Zhou Jiangbing's research team, Yale University, and published LRRC31 Inhibits DNA Repairand SensitizesBreastCancer Brain Metastasis to Radiation Therapyin Nature Cell Biologyon October 1, 2020.
This study provides a theoretical basis for clarifying the molecular network regulation mechanism of tumor radiotherapy response and targets for radiosensitizing drugs. It alsoexplores a new strategy for treating brain metastases through "nano-targeted drug delivery combined with radiotherapy", which has important scientific significance and clinical reference value.
