International English academic journal Energy Storage and Saving founded
The English journal Energy Storage and Saving (ENSS) held an inaugural press conference at iHarbour of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), in Xi’an, Northwest China’s Shaanxi Province, on April 8.
Tao Wenquan, a CAS member and honorary editor-in-chief of ENSS, Wang Tiejun, vice president of XJTU, Li Yinghong, a CAS member, He Yaling, a CAS member, Luo Qi, a CAE member, Wang Qiuwang, editor-in-chief of ENSS and professor of XJTU, Jiang Peixue, deputy editor-in-chief of ENSS and professor of Tsinghua University, Ding Shujiang, deputy editor-in-chief of ENSS and professor of XJTU, and Chai Zhao, vice general manager of KeAi Communications Co., Ltd., attended the conference. Some of the editorial board members at home and abroad attended via video link.
The launch of ENSS is in line with China's needs and XJTU’s discipline construction, said Wang Tiejun, vice president of the university, adding that he wished the journal a success with the joint efforts of all editorial board members.
Wang Tiejun issued letters of appointment to the honorary editor-in-chief, editor-in-chief, deputy editor-in-chief and representatives of the editorial board members participating in the launch conference.
“Energy storage is an important aspect in the modern energy supply chain”, said Wang Qiuwang, editor-in-chief of ENSS and professor of XJTU.
ENSS is committed to advancing basic research of energy storage and its application in the fields of thermodynamics, chemistry, biology, electromechanics, magnetism, and economics to make contributions to the sustainable development of energy use.
ENSS is a comprehensive international English academic journal, which is sponsored by XJTU and published in cooperation with KeAi Communications Co., Ltd. by Elsevier. To date, nine academicians and nearly influential 50 scholars from 17 countries and regions have joined the editorial board of the journal.
More than 700 guests attending the conference by combined online video links and offline on-site participation witnessed the establishment of ENSS.
