Combining the advantages of XJTU's electronic and information engineering and other multi-disciplinary fields, the studio selected 95 teams from the School of Mechanical Engineering, the School of Electrical Engineering, the School of Life Science and Technology and the School of Aerospace Engineering during the registration stage.

The course "Innovation and Practice of Electronic Design" was designed for the competition to guide and train the participating teams. From technological innovation to industrial applications, from presentations to showcasing, the overall quality of the students' work was improved.

Wu Shengli invited experts and studio teachers to give instructions and comments on the works and PowerPoint presentations to the participating teams one by one before the provincial-level competition and the final.

XJTU has won the first place in the "China Graduate Electronics Design Contest" three consecutive times. The studio has become an effective platform for cultivating students' sense of innovation and improving practical ability, and fully reflects the school's positive progress with remarkable results in innovation and entrepreneurship education.

Twenty-six teams from XJTU advanced to the national finals and won five first prizes, eight second prizes, four third prizes, two awards for excellent papers, seven first prizes, one second prize and one third prize for business plans, and two best roadshow awards.
