Bie Zhaohong elected IEEE Fellow
Bie Zhaohong, XJTU Vice-President and member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) Committee, was honored as an IEEE Fellow for her accomplishments in power system reliability and resilience.

She has long been engaged in the basic theoretical research and key technology development of power system reliability and elasticity. She has conquered the linchpin for the comprehensive planning of new energy power systems that integrates optimal planning, reliability assessments, and capacity assessments of new energy power systems, which has been promoted and applied in six grid provincial companies and more than 800 new energy stations.
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, also known as the IEEE, is the world's largest technical professional and academic organization. The highest grade of membership, the IEEE Fellow, is attained through nomination by peers and approval by the IEEE Board of Directors for distinction in the profession.
