The Ministry of Education recently announced the results of the 2022 National Teaching Achievement Awards for Higher Education (Undergraduate). Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) has been honored with 17 awards in total, including three first-place prizes and 14 second-place prizes.

This remarkable achievement positions the university at number-one nationally in terms of total number of awards – its best performance ever.

The National Teaching Achievement Awards, held every four years, are the most prestigious higher education award in China, recognizing accomplishments in talent cultivation and educational reform at the university level.

XJTU earned the highest number of awards in both 2018 (including both undergraduate and graduate levels) and 2022 (undergraduate level).
