Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) achieved outstanding results in the National University-level Robot Technology Innovation Exchange Camp and Robot Competition, winning one special award, one first-place prize, and one third-place prize. It was among the top universities nationwide in terms of overall performance.

The competition was jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and took place at the Rizhao International Expo Center in East China's Shandong province from Dec 17 to 19.

The competition focuses on the key proposition of "driving industrial innovation through technological innovation." By aligning with national strategic needs and industry realities, it promotes the integration of outstanding innovative achievements by university students with society, the market, capital, and industry, encouraging the use of student works to increase productivity.

This year's competition featured five major categories, including industrial robots, personal and home service robots, public service robots, special robots, and other robots. Each university was limited to three projects, attracting a total of 1,017 entries from 431 universities nationwide. After preliminary reviews and online screening, a total of 221 entries advanced to the final competition.
