On the afternoon of Jan 26, recipients of the 2024 Chinese Government Friendship Award and a number of foreign experts working in China were invited to a discussion at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

Ushurova Sofiya, a Kazakhstani teacher at Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) and recipient of the Shaanxi Provincial Government's "Special Contribution Award for Belt and Road Higher Education Cooperation", attended the event.

She submitted written suggestions on topics such as scholarships for international students in China, regulatory policies for overseas corporate investment, and insurance coverage for foreigners in China.
