XJTU updates online service platform for alumni

On the occasion of its 129th founding anniversary and 69th relocation anniversary, Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJUT) has launched an upgraded version of its "alumni service hall" mini-program.
Designed to offer global alumni a more convenient and intelligent service experience, the platform aims to create a comprehensive and precise one-stop hub for alumni engagement.
The electronic alumni card, first released in 2017, now consolidates multiple academic periods, fully showcasing alumni's campus experiences.
The updated contact system integrates information and interaction by class, enabling alumni worldwide to reconnect with former classmates.
A multi-tier administrator system ensures alumni card applications are synced with affiliated schools, fostering real-time updates and collaborative alumni support.
To celebrate the 130th founding anniversary and 70th relocation anniversary in 2026, the mini-program will debut the "130th Anniversary: Check-In with Our Alma Mater" campaign. Alumni can gather online with classmates, send blessings to the university, and invite peers to join the celebration.
In the future, planned services will include streamlined campus access for returnees, lifelong learning services for alumni, business collaboration platforms, and showcases of alumni achievements, all designed to strengthen ties and empower alumni through shared resources.
