XJTU wins the ‌"Group Award"‌ at the China International College Students' Innovation Competition 2024‌.

At the ‌China International College Students' Innovation Competition 2024‌, ‌Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU)‌ was awarded the ‌"Group Award"‌ (one of only 10 universities nationwide), marking the ninth consecutive year it has earned the honor.

At the 2024 competition finals, XJTU secured ‌13 gold awards‌, ranking second nationally and achieving a record high in total gold awards. It also won ‌three silver awards‌ and ‌one bronze award.

All four international projects‌ invited by XJTU won gold awards, setting a new record for the university. Over the past 10 editions of the competition, XJTU has accumulated ‌48 gold awards‌, the most nationwide.

To ensure a strong performance at the competition, XJTU established a ‌cross-departmental work team‌ involving 12 departments. The ‌School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Engineering Workshop led a series of comprehensive training initiatives.

The university organized ‌special lectures, workshops, and bootcamps‌, inviting over 100 experts from renowned investment firms and enterprises. According to incomplete statistics, the competition has facilitated the incubation of ‌over 60 companies‌, boosting innovation-driven development.
