Xi'an Jiaotong University Press unveiled an innovative summer program for children at a news conference on June 19.

The project harnesses the university's esteemed scientific and educational resources along with its rich cultural legacy to create a top-notch research curriculum. The goal is to empower young minds with advanced skills, shaping a new breed of capable individuals ready to lead in the nation's future endeavors.

He Yanfeng, the director of the Basic Education Branch at Xi'an Jiaotong University Press and deputy director of the Youth Innovation and Development Center at Xi'an Jiaotong University, highlighted the project's dedication to establishing a research and practical platform that incorporates the concept of "comprehensive ideological and political courses." This initiative aims to offer diverse and enriching learning experiences for youth, attracting exceptional students to engage with, comprehend, and aspire to join Jiaotong University, ultimately contributing to the nurturing of fresh talents empowered by the ethos of the university.

The unveiling comprises four primary projects:

Firstly, the 2025 Xi'an Jiaotong University Graduate Practice Course and Campus Visit Route Planning, guiding primary and secondary school students on an in-depth exploration of the university's campus landmarks, key laboratories, innovation hubs, and more, enabling them to immerse themselves in the academic ambiance and spirit of innovation.

Secondly, the "Building Dreams at Xi'an Jiaotong University, Looking towards the Future" summer camp aims to ignite young minds with aspirations for higher education and scientific exploration through immersive courses and engaging activities.

Thirdly, the book clubs serve as communication platforms fostering spiritual growth through the exploration of classic literature.

Lastly, the summer public welfare camp provides students from underprivileged areas with the opportunity to engage with Xi'an Jiaotong University, offering a glimpse into university life. These initiatives are designed to plant the seeds of ambition in the hearts of young individuals, nurturing them to become the torchbearers of the new era.
