The Youth Dialogue for Peace of the 11th ASEAN-China Young Leaders Exchange Festival was held on July 27 at iHarbour of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU).

Xing Shanping, vice-governor of Shaanxi province and president of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, highlighted Shaanxi's socio-economic progress and its collaborative achievements with ASEAN.

XJTU Vice-president Shan Zhiwei introduced the university and iHarbour's development milestones. He looks forward to more ASEAN youth studying and thriving at XJTU, collaborating to create a brighter future.

Centered on the theme "Youth United for Peace of Our Shared Home," the dialogue featured youth delegates from China and 10 ASEAN nations discussing ‌peace and cultural exchanges‌, economic collaboration‌, and technological innovation‌.

Discussions were moderated by XJTU Associate Professors Li Jiasheng and Ma Guiyuan, alongside Guan Jian (alumnus and deputy general manager of Youibot Robotics).

Participating youth representatives included XJTU students Bai Rong, Liu Chi, and Wang Ruichen, alongside Malaysian international student Teh Teik Rong, who joined ASEAN delegates in thematic exchanges.

On July 28, the ASEAN students visited XJTU's Xingqing Campus for guided tours of the ‌XJTU Museum‌ and ‌XJTU Relocation History Museum‌.
