XJTU is selected to host the 10th China Postgraduate Public Administration Case Competition and the 23rd China Postgraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling.

The 2026 China Postgraduate Innovation & Practice Competitions were recently launched in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province. During the launch ceremony, the "2025 Annual Report on China Postgraduate Innovation & Practice Competitions" and the annual contribution leaderboards were released.

Since the launch of the 2025 competitions in March last year, 4,004 graduate students, 1,176 teams, and 989 faculty advisors from XJTU participated in 22 thematic tournament tracks. The university clinched 431 national third-prize awards or higher, including 35 first prizes, 165 second prizes, and 231 third prizes.

Both the number of participants and the total medal count saw a year-on-year increase of over 70 percent, securing XJTU's position as number one in the nation for both total first prizes and overall awards for the 13th consecutive year.

Looking ahead to 2026, XJTU will host two major national events: the 10th China Postgraduate Public Administration Case Competition and the 23rd China Postgraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling.

Relying on the strong academic resources and top-notch facilities at iHarbour, XJTU is committed to providing quality services and logistical support. Special preparations for the 10th China Postgraduate Public Administration Case Competition are already underway.

The China Postgraduate Innovation & Practice Competitions are currently the only national-level tournament series dedicated to postgraduate students that is recognized and guided by the Chinese government.

Over a decade of development, the competitions have evolved into a premier platform for cultivating an innovative spirit among postgraduate students. It helps higher education institutions elevate graduate training quality, foster a culture of research innovation, and drive educational reforms in graduate innovation and entrepreneurship.
